Probate of Last Will and Testament – This proceeding, although for the most part administrative, can be difficult and time consuming for grieving family members. We will use our expertise and experience to make this process as fast and pain free as possible. We have also successfully litigated contested will cases in the Probate Court and continue to do so when the need arises.

Administration – This proceeding is used to handle an estate of a deceased who did not have a Last Will and Testament.

Guardianships/Conservatorships – When an individual can no longer legally speak for themselves or is incompetent to manage their affairs because of their health condition, this proceeding is used to legally name an individual to make all decisions.

Petitions for Year’s Support – A surviving spouse and minor children are entitled under Georgia law to a year’s support based on year prior to the decedant’s death. We have Petitioned and litigated both sides successfully regarding year’s support petitions and caveats.
