Mr. Huskins received his Bachelor of Arts degree from West Georgia College in 1968. Upon his graduation from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon in 1974, Mr. Huskins worked for approximately a year and a half as an Assistant District Attorney for the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit which includes Putnam County. He then entered the private practice along with his step-father, Dallas D. Veal. They practiced together as Veal and Huskins until Mr. Veal’s death in 1981. Mr. Huskins was a sole practitioner until 1985 when he was joined in the practice of law by his wife, Sylvia S. Huskins, who had also graduated from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. They practiced together as Huskins and Huskins until their son joined them in the practice in 1997.
